This calculator was made to help you work out how profitable mining Aeternity can be for you. It is for both mining rigs at home and cloud mining services. Input your variables, like hash rate and any pool fees you many incur. If you're using a mining rig at home, fill out the price of the hardware, your power usage in watts and the power cost in kw per hour of where you are running the rig. (This can be found on an electricity bill, or a quick online search for averages in your area if you're unsure). If you are using a cloud mining service, enter the cost of the mining contract, and any maintenance or pool fees you may have. Then press calculate.
The profit results are estimated, based on the current difficulty level of Aeternity, as well as the exchange rate and price of AE to USD. The results of the calculation are below. You will see your projected profit in four parts; daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. This tells you how long it will take for you to break even, taking into account your initial contract fee for cloud mining or your hardware costs if you've got your own rig.
