ChatCoin is otherwise known as "CHAT" and operates separately from a single administration, such as a central bank. You cannot mine the decentralized digital currency, and as such, you can get CHAT coins via a cryptocurrency exchange service. The coin uses the proof of work and proof of stake (pow/pos) consensus, along with the Scrypt algorithm.
