Komodo History
Derived from the same developer who created BitcoinDark, Komodo (KMD) is actually forked from Zcash. The cryptocurrency runs on the SuperNET platform and is the official currency of the project. Komodo, (symbol KMD) has been around since October 15th, 2016 and works independently of any monetary authorities. The decentralized crypto currency uses the Delayed Proof of Work (DPoW) consensus and it is mineable, using the EquiHash algorithm. We have made a calculator for Komodo, to help estimate the profitability of mining the coin. We also offer a mining calculator widget which you can embed on your own website or blog.
