EquiHash Coins

EquiHash, created by Alex Biryukov and Dmitry Khovratovich, was first unveiled in 2016, at the Network and Distributed System Security Symposium in San Diego. It is based on the Generalized Birthday Problem, a cryptography concept created in 1957. Equihash is memory-intensive, meaning the amount of mining you can do is governed by how much RAM you have.
